I had a really fun discussion today about what exactly makes a great book to take on the beach. Certainly, in this regard, not all books are created equal. I had a really fun discussion today about what exactly makes a great book to take on the beach. Certainly, in this regard, not all books are created equal. A book for me that was a great a book read is the Hobbit. It was a good book read where times were always filled with the tales of mythical beats and what not. J.R.R Tolkien does a good job through out his writing to describe his characters and monsters. He makes you feel connected and like you never want to leave their side. This a throat wrenching read with every unexpected turn the author throws in this novel you'll always be left wondering what will Bilbo do next.
